"Network with People Who are Different Than You"... wise words indeed from our founder Ivan Misner!
Oftwn in business your best client can be or come from somebody you didn't even consider as a client or someone that you felt didn't have a lot in common with you or your business. Often they can turn out to be a connector between you and a whole collection of people you might not otherwise have been able to meet.
So don't play it safe and move outside your sector, comfort zone and safe surroundings and try something different. A BNI Chapter meeting can be the ideal place to encounter these opportunities! Gey in touch and arrange to visit one of our meetings and see what potential they have for business opportunities.Network with People Who are Different Than You

Last Thursday morning BNI Kerry Chapter joined forces with the RDI Hub to demonstrate how being in the right place at the right time can change everything for businesses. This unique collaboration brought together two dynamic organisations focused on fostering growth and connection for local businesses.
“The RDI Hub is an impressive facility, offering unparalleled support and guidance to its members,” said Anne Hannan, President of the BNI Kerry Chapter. “It was a privilege to host our weekly meeting at the Hub and invite their members to experience the power of referral-based marketing firsthand.”
BNI (Business Network International) operates on the philosophy of “Giver’s Gain,” creating structured opportunities for professionals to exchange referrals and grow their businesses. Dan O’Donoghue of Asentiv Ireland South led a thought-provoking session for attendees, emphasising the distinction between casual networking and the strategic approach of referral-based marketing. “Ask anyone how they landed their biggest client or achieved their biggest breakthrough, and they’ll likely point to a connection made through someone they knew,” Dan explained. “BNI takes that process and makes it both proactive and predictable.”
Eoin Ferris from Sitecert, an RDI Hub member and former BNI Chapter member, echoed these sentiments: “I’ve seen firsthand the value BNI offers to businesses aiming to make those all-important connections. I was excited to help fellow RDI Hub residents explore how BNI could take their businesses to the next level.”
Megan Daly Tyrell, Business Development Manager of the RDI Hub expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration: “This was a fantastic opportunity to connect our members with the resources and expertise of BNI. We look forward to further partnerships that continue to bring value to our community.”

A great event in a fantastic facility @ The RDI Hub in Killorglin. Really good to meet many business owners and entrepreneurs working out of the facility and learn all about their businesses. Thanks also to Dan of Asentiv Ireland South for his presentation on how referral networking (the foundation of BNI) differs from other networking types.
