BNI – Ireland’s Leading Business Networking and Referral Organisation

Looking to grow your Business?

Your business can grow faster than you can imagine.

Why?

Becoming part of BNI Ireland the largest referral network in the country, and in particular the Kerry Chapter, is proven to be the best and most cost effective way to get more clients and grow your business through referrals.

Where?

The BNI Kerry Chapter currently has a wide variety of business categories, and at this time of business and economic growth we are looking to expand our membership with a number of business categories currently open for applications.

Since the BNI Kerry Chapter started back in November 1999, its members have generated over €15 Million of business transacted between our members. Would you like a share in this business?

How?

BNI is not like other networking meetings where it is up to you to introduce yourself to strangers and attempt to sell your business and in a room with some of your competitors. Everyone is personally welcomed and introduced and given a dedicated opportunity to talk about their business.
BNI only permits one person per profession to join.

The philosophy of BNI is Givers Gain®, BNI’s core strength, is the structured approach to giving and gaining referrals. Each week our members bring genuine opportunities for work (or “referrals”) for each other.
Our members are the best sales team you’ll ever have.

When?

The best way to understand the BNI approach is to experience it for yourself. Why not visit a chapter this week and experience it for yourself. If you are interested in attending, please contact us and we will arrange a visit to a morning meeting. We now meet in person on the first and third Thursday of every month in the morning at the Centerpoint Training Centre in the 4Park Business Centre in Farranfore from 7am to 8.30am, and then have online meetings every other Thursday morning in the month on Zoom from 7.00am to 8.30am. Open networking before all meetings takes place from 6.30am to 7am and gives people a chance to chat and have discussions before the meeting itself. We also sit down to enjoy breakfast at The Warehouse Cafe after in person meetings, for additional open networking, if members & visitors wish to stay on.

Please contact Tony Dunne on 086 820 2832 or email tdunne@kingdommedia.ie for more details.

What our members say about BNI Kerry Chapter

  • Joining the BNI Kerry Chapter has been one of the best business and personal decisions I have made. Since I first attended a meeting as a visitor over 6 years ago I realised that this would be an ideal organisation and group to join to enable me to establish myself better locally in the business community and promote myself and my business. Not only do the members act as your own sales team promoting you, but they can find and refer you business through their established client base and contacts list. With over 6 years experience in the Chapter now, I have made some great friends as well and had access to all the business & personal development resources that the BNI has to offer. If you are interested in doing more business or better business, then I can highly recommend the BNI and specifically the BNI Kerry Chapter if you are a Kerry based business. They are the masters of the business referral networking!

  • I joined the Kerry BNI Chapter back in 2001, a year after I started my business in 2000 and I'm so grateful that I did. I've stayed in business and BNI since, and I consider the BNI Kerry Chapter a key component of our success and growth. It's a great way to get to know other business owners and also to hone your business skills. I highly recommend the BNI Kerry Chapter.

  • I have been very fortunate to have become a member of BNI Kerry Chapter in 2020 as the support, advice, knowledge, and business generated for me through the relationships built, has been a hugely important part of the success of my 1st venture into self employment. The positive environment, weekly accountability, and experience in the room from a diverse range of business professionals, has been a cornerstone of my journey to date, and I am very grateful for that. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone in business to come and visit our weekly meeting if you are currently looking to widen your network, and able to take on more business.

  • Joining the Kerry Chapter of BNI 12.5 years ago having just set up an environmental services company called Irish Drain Services was one of the best decisions I made. It is the morning meeting where I work on my business not in my business, and having a weekly meeting with similar minded companies who support each other. I recommend highly to come for a visit or indeed join the BNI Kerry Chapter.

  • Corcoran's are a member of BNI Killarney for over 7 years. It's a great way to meet other business people and work together to generate referrals and business for each other. After each meeting you feel energized and ready to take on the day.

  • Killorglin Family Resource Centre were chosen as the charity for the BNI Kerry Chapter in August 2023 and in the time since then we have been supported in many ways. The members promote our services, get behind fundraisers and make links with people we otherwise might not come into contact with. BNI is a great way to get your business out there through others who are serious about their work.

At our in person meeting last week we had a great "show and tell" 10 minute feature presentation from our newest member Gintaras of MyMicrocement, Ireland's main distributor for Cimentart microcement.

We got to learn all about the various types of microcement and see/feel the colours/textures available. A huge range of design options possible! And can be applied to any surface, and 100% waterproof too!

If you'd like to learn more about what microcement is, what its advantages are and where/how it can be used, give Gintaras a follow or check out his website www.cimentart.ie.

Thanks to our subs who filled in for members unable to attend.

If you'd like to attend a meeting or want to learn more about BNI and our Chapter, and what you can get from it, get in touch or visit www.bnikerry.ie.

At yesterday morning's meeting at BNI Killarney Chapter we were delighted to have more visitors attending and getting the opportunity to meet our members, promote their businesses, learn about each others' businesses, and learn all about how BNI and referral networking works!

We had an excellent feature presentation from visitor Jennifer Riney, Employment Facilitator with the South Kerry WorkAbility Inclusive Pathways to Employment Programme, who told us all about the programme and how to implement training in this area into your business.

We also had Aggie & Raj from Kerry Way Studio- Handmade Silver Jewellery introduce us to their beautiful handmade silverware and enamel and ceramics product ranges they design, produce and sell.

Aggie had this to say about attending the meeting:

"“Hi my name is Aggie, myself and my husband Raf are professional jewellers, my husband is also an enameler and l’m a ceramist. Quite recently Raf was looking for someone who could help him with few corrections on our website. This is how we came across Tony, our neighbour. He helped us with our query and also invited us to a BNI meeting. We had no idea what we were facing as l never heard of them. To my surprise BNI is a group of local businesses helping each other in any way possible. It was really good to see how different fields can cooperate with each other and it is all about support people can offer to each other. If you are a new business like us, it is exactly what you would be looking for. And some of the members are there for twenty plus years so it only proves that it works! I will be definitely be back to another meeting in September, and in the future l will seriously consider becoming a member.”

If you'd like to attend one of our in person meetings to get a chance to meet fellow business owners in Kerry, get in touch with us and see what's involved.
